(Adnkronos) – Russian forces have advanced 3,985 square kilometers in Ukraine in 2024, seven times more than in 2023. Afp writes this, commenting on data from the Isw, Institute for the Study of War.
The advance was favored by an acceleration in the movements of Russian troops in the fall (610 square kilometers in October and 725 square kilometers in November). These are the two months in which the Russians have conquered the largest amount of territory since March 2022, in the first weeks of the conflict.
