(Adnkronos) – Christian prisoners in Iranian prisons who have not been convicted of crimes such as espionage or acts against national security will have five days leave to leave prison. This is stated in a circular signed by the head of the judicial authority of the Islamic Republic, quoted by the Tehran agencies, in which all prosecutors in the country are ordered to implement the decision, on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of Jesus and of the New Year, “in consideration of the positive and constructive effects of the presence of detainees with their families”.
