Ankara, 35 thousand refugees have left Turkey since Assad’s fall

(Adnkronos) – About 35,000 Syrian refugees have left Turkey to return home since President Bashar al Assad fled the country on 8 December. This was announced by Ankara Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, quoted by Ntv television, according to whom about 2.9 million Syrians still live in Turkey, including one million children born in the country.
