(Adnkronos) – The 62-year-old who ran over and killed 35 people with his car in the Chinese city of Zhuhai last month has been sentenced to death. This was announced by the state broadcaster Cctv.
“The court publicly tried the case of the defendant Fan Weiqiu for endangering public safety by dangerous methods and issued the verdict the same day. Fan Weiqiu was sentenced to death,” the broadcaster said.
