(Adnkronos) – At least 34 people have died and 319 have been injured in northern Mozambique, where Cyclone Chido, with winds of up to 120 kilometers per hour, has devastated the Cabo Delgado and Nampula areas in particular. The new toll, still provisional, was confirmed by local authorities. More than 35,000 homes, according to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, have been destroyed or damaged. About 200,000 people are without electricity.
