(Adnkronos) – French Prime Minister François Bayrou will make his general policy statement on Tuesday, January 14 in Parliament. This was announced by his entourage, as reported by the broadcaster Bfmtv.
Le Figaro explains that each new head of government delivers a general policy statement to indicate their roadmap and their main objectives. They can ask for a vote of confidence, but it is not an obligation. Bayrou’s predecessors, Elisabeth Borne, Gabriel Attal and Michel Barnier, had not done so.
