Georgia, police: 12 victims of carbon monoxide poisoning

(Adnkronos) – Twelve people have died from carbon monoxide poisoning at a ski resort in Georgia, local police said. 

The bodies of 11 foreigners and one Georgian citizen were found in a sleeping area above a restaurant in the Gudauri ski resort in the north of the country, police said, adding that “preliminary examinations do not indicate any signs of violence on the bodies.”
