(Adnkronos) – The situation of the Mayotte health system is “very deteriorated, with a severely damaged hospital and medical centers that are also unusable.” French Health Minister Geneviève Darrieussecq said.
“The hospital suffered severe water damage and deteriorated, particularly in the surgery, intensive care, emergency and maternity wards, which are all essential to the running of the hospital (…) despite this, it continues to operate in a deteriorated state,” the minister’s update on France 2.
