South Korea, Parliament okays resolution for ‘immediate arrest’ of president

(Adnkronos) – The National Assembly of Seoul, the South Korean parliament, has approved a resolution calling for the immediate arrest of President Yoon Suk Yeol and seven other people in connection with last week’s declaration with which the president attempted to impose martial law, soon revoked. Xinhua news agency reports, specifying that the resolution has no legal effect.
