(Adnkronos) – The Syrian Parliament has announced that it will support “the will” of the people to build a new country in the aftermath of the capture of Damascus by armed factions and the flight of Bashar al-Assad. “December 8 was a historic day for the lives of all Syrians. We support the will to build a new Syria towards a better future guided by law and justice,” said the Parliament, which was aligned with Assad, in a note released by Sana, the Syrian news agency that now has the three-star flag of the insurgents in its Telegram logo.
