(Adnkronos) – There are no plans for a meeting in the immediate future between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Bashar al-Assad. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, without providing details on Assad’s whereabouts. “What happened – he said, quoted by the Russian agency Tass regarding the latest developments in Syria, with the fall of the Assad regime – surprised the whole world and we are no exception”.
