(Adnkronos) – The vote to decide whether to impeach President Yoon will take place on Saturday at 7 pm local time, according to South Korean media reports, citing opposition lawmakers.
Although the opposition has a majority of 192 seats in parliament, for the motion to pass at least eight of the 108 lawmakers from the ruling party must support it. According to Yonhap, the People Power Party, Yoon’s ruling party, has agreed to oppose his impeachment.
