(Adnkronos) – Moscow strongly supports the counteroffensive launched by the Damascus leadership to counter the attacks by ”terrorist groups” in Syria. This was stated by Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, arguing that the advance of the jihadists in recent days in Syria would not have been possible without external support and incitement. Without providing evidence, Zakharova told a news conference that the insurgents had received drones and training from external actors.
