Thailand, floods, at least 25 dead in the south

(Adnkronos) – The official death toll from the floods that have plagued southern Thailand has risen to 25. More than 664,000 people have been affected in ten provinces. This was reported by local media, stressing that large areas of six provinces are still submerged by water. 

The provinces affected, by the consequences of heavy rains since November 23, are those of Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Trang, Satun, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.
