DHL cargo plane crashes into building near Vilnius

(Adnkronos) – A DHL cargo plane crashed near Vilnius airport in Lithuania this morning. The aircraft is said to have crashed into a building. The aircraft – writes on X Lithuanian Airports – crashed in Liepkalnis, adding that relief efforts are on site.  

One of the four crew members was found dead. “The plane was supposed to land at Vilnius airport and crashed a few kilometers from the airport,” said Renatas Pozela, head of the fire and rescue service.
