(Adnkronos) – The Hamas Ministry of Health for Gaza has warned that all hospitals in the Palestinian territory will have to cease or reduce their activities “within 48 hours” due to lack of fuel, the entry of which into the Strip is reportedly blocked by the Israeli authorities.
“We are issuing an urgent warning that all hospitals in the Gaza Strip will stop functioning or reduce their services within 48 hours due to Israel’s impediment to the entry of fuel,” the director of field hospitals of the ministry, Marwan al-Hams, said during a press conference.
