Gatwick terminal reopens, situation back to normal

22 Novembre 2024

(Adnkronos) – The alert issued at the south terminal of London Gatwick airport, which was evacuated this morning following a “security incident” related to the discovery of a suspicious object inside a suitcase, has returned. This was indicated by the London airport itself, as reported by Sky News.

The terminal has been reopened to staff and will shortly be reopened to passengers, the airport indicated, specifying that the rail service – once the terminal is 100% operational again – will also resume.
