(Adnkronos) – Four Brazilian soldiers deployed to Rio for the G20 summit were arrested today on suspicion of planning Lula’s assassination after his election as president at the end of 2022. The soldiers, suspected of having developed plans for a coup that included the assassination of Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva on December 15, 2022, “were arrested in Rio, where they were taking part in the security mission linked to the G20,” said the same source, who also spoke of the arrest of a police officer as part of the same operation.
