Macron on a mission to South America, with stops in Argentina, Brazil and Chile

(Adnkronos) – A mission to South America for French President Emmanuel Macron, who this weekend will travel to Buenos Aires to “continue a demanding dialogue”, particularly on climate, with ultra-liberal President Javier Milei. This was announced by the Elysée, specifying that the visit to Argentina precedes Macron’s participation in the G20 summit scheduled for 18 and 19 November in Rio de Janeiro. The French president’s tour of Latin America will conclude with a visit to Chile on 20 and 21 November “with stops in Santiago and Valparaiso”, the Elysée added.
