(Adnkronos) – The announcement on the date of the next elections in Germany could come from the meeting of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group, which begins at 3 p.m. Bild writes, quoting the secretary of the Cdu/Csu parliamentary group, Thorsten Frei, according to whom Scholz should soon send a letter to the President of the Bundestag, Baerbel Bas, announcing the vote of confidence.
One date – among other proposals – seems to be considered the most likely for the early vote according to Bild. Scholz – he writes – would like to table the question of confidence on December 18 to pave the way for the vote on February 23.
