Elise Stefanik as United States ambassador to the United Nations. “I am honored to appoint Chairman Elise Stefanik to serve in my cabinet as United States Ambassador to the United Nations. Elise is an incredibly strong, tenacious and intelligent fighter, an advocate for America First,” Trump said in a statement to the New York Post.
Stefanik confirmed that she has accepted the nomination, saying she is “truly honored.” “During my conversation with President Trump, I expressed how honored I am to accept his nomination and that I look forward to earning the support of my colleagues in the United States Senate,” she said.
