USA, Trump appoints Susie Wiles Chief of Staff, first woman to hold office

(Adnkronos) – US President-elect Donald Trump has appointed Susie Wiles as his White House Chief of Staff. Co-chair of the Trumo campaign and considered the true director of his victory, Wiles will be the first woman to serve as White House chief of staff, the most important member of the US president’s executive office. 

”Susie Wiles helped me achieve one of the greatest political victories in American history and has been an integral part of my election campaigns in both 2016 and 2020,” Trump wrote in a statement. ”Susie is tenacious, innovative, intelligent, respected and admired by all,” Trump continued, stressing that ”Susie will continue to work tirelessly to ‘Make America Great Again”’. In short, Trump said, “I have no doubt that she will make our country proud.”
