(Adnkronos) – Donald Trump bet on the vote of young males, Hispanics and African Americans, launching an offensive since last summer to conquer vital space in traditionally Democratic constituencies. A bet that, according to the analysis of the election results through exit polls, was successful, writes the Washington Post, revealing that a precious advisor to Trump was his son Barron.
The 18-year-old son of Melania, who voted for the first time yesterday, recommended podcasts to his father dedicated to martial arts, car racing and other sporting activities favored by young males that make up what is now known as the “bro vote”.
This allowed Trump to register, according to the first exit polls, a national advantage of 10 points among male voters, while Kamala Harris had the same advantage among women. It is no coincidence that when the polls were still open, Trump’s advisor, Stephen Miller, encouraged American men on social media to go and vote, using military language: “all the men of America must do their duty, go to the polls and vote, to end the invasion once and for all”.
