(Adnkronos) – Rain continues to fall in Spain, where an orange alert has been issued for the risk of heavy rains in Catalonia and the province of Castellon. Here, 50 liters of rain per square meter are expected in one hour, strong thunderstorms and the risk of hail. The provinces of Aragon and Extremadura are also under rainfall alert, with a yellow risk level. This was announced by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
Meanwhile, the city of Valencia and the municipalities in its metropolitan area have suspended classes for today due to the rains that continue to hit the province and due to mobility restrictions decreed by the Generalitat to facilitate the work of emergency services.
