(Adnkronos) – The prosecutor’s office in Georgia has announced the opening of an investigation into alleged falsification of the results of Saturday’s parliamentary elections won by Georgian Dream, a party founded by tycoon Bidzina Ivanishvili in power for 12 years and contested by the opposition. The coalition of four pro-European party groups spoke of “theft” of votes. The position of Western countries, for whom there were “irregularities”, was more moderate.
