(Adnkronos) – The Russian frigate of the Admiral Gorshkov class “Admiral Sovetskovvo” made a stop at the Tunisian port of Bizerte as part of the “multifaceted constructive cooperation between Russia and Tunisia”, said the Russian Chargé d’Affaires in Tunisia, Vadim Barabanov. “The call of a military ship highlights the friendly and sincere relationship crucial for both countries”, he specified. President Kais Saied “is friendly towards Russia, this stopover reflects it”, added the diplomat, after meeting the ship’s commander, Captain Pavel Konov.
