28 Ottobre 2024

(Adnkronos) – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has proposed a two-day truce in Gaza and a limited exchange of hostages, with the aim of ensuring “a complete ceasefire” after over a year of war between Israel and Hamas. The proposal put forward yesterday provides for the exchange of four Israeli hostages held in Gaza with Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, and will be followed by further negotiations within 10 days, Sisi said at a press conference in Cairo, without specifying whether the plan was formally submitted to Israel or Hamas.
