Usa, final Nyt poll, ‘it’s a total tie 48-48 between Trump and Harris’

25 Ottobre 2024

(Adnkronos) – It is a complete stalemate, a total tie between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris in the final New York Times poll. In the last New York Times/Siena College poll before Election Day on November 5, the two opponents are both at 48%, with the Republican advancing from the early October poll which gave the Democrat a 3-point lead, 49% to 46%.

The Times therefore comments that in recent weeks there has been a further accentuation of the already tense head-to-head between the two candidates, recalling that historically such close duels are decided by the results in the seven key states, where the margins are also very narrow.

If the poll describes a general situation of parity, the ratios change completely if male and female voters are considered separately. Harris is ahead among women by 12 points, 54% to 42%, while Trump has an even larger lead, by 14 points, among men, with 55% to 41%.
