Pkk claims attack on Tai headquarters, ‘planned for a long time’

(Adnkronos) – The Pkk claimed Wednesday’s attack in Ankara on the headquarters of Turkish Aerospace Industries (Tai), which killed five people and injured 22. The attack “was carried out by a team from the ‘Battalion of the Immortals’,” the Pkk wrote on Telegram, citing the names of the two bombers. The operation was “planned for a long time,” the Pkk adds, stressing that it is not connected to recent political developments in Turkey, namely to a possible negotiation to end the internal conflict. However, the Pkk writes, it is necessary to send “warnings and messages against the Turkish government’s practices of genocide, massacres and isolation”,
