(Adnkronos) – The next presidential elections in Belarus will be held on January 26, 2025. The announcement was made today by the Electoral Commission in Minsk. The last elections, marked by the exclusion of ten opposition candidates and widespread accusations of manipulation of the results, led to mass protests in the country. The current president, Alexander Lukashenko, has held the position since July 1994.
