Cuban president, ‘zero tolerance with those who protest after blackout’

(Adnkronos) – The Cuban government will not tolerate public demonstrations and protests after the national blackout which, following a breakdown in the main power plant, literally ”turned off” the island for three days. This was announced by Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel in a televised message, where he appeared wearing a military uniform. Some people have tried to “disturb public order” and those responsible will be treated “severely,” Diaz-Canel said
