(Adnkronos) – The United States has conducted targeted strikes against five underground weapons depots in areas of Yemen controlled by the Shiite Houthi militia. Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin announced this in a statement.
“US forces targeted multiple Houthi underground facilities, which housed weapons of the same type that the Houthis have used to hit civilian and military vessels across the region,” Austin said.
